NOTE: This descriptor of events was automatically captured by the Klogg Narr 'Gic and transcribed into a text document by ASSININE (Artificial Serebral System Ingeniously Not Incongruous Nor Equivocal, a new Smorkk technology).

ANOTHER NOTE: This adventure experience picks up from the events in Dusty PennGooInn #4 September 13th 2020.

The troupe stands at the base of the cliff, the descent of which is apparently too arduous, hellish and nightmare inducing to speak of, in an icy wasteland known as the "Icy Flows of Boo" and variously described as similar to “Antarctica” (a continent of old Earth). Although their direction has been somewhat lost, the goal seems to still be to recover the magic life crystal to save those poor poor orphans. The experience must pause briefly however - for a set of extra ordinarily contrived events to take place*, to weasel in several extraneous characters into the troupe. Through several humorous flashbacks, cut-aways, and unrelated explanations, three new characters are dumped into the over encumbered arms of the exhausted Philton; Smock who is an old “friend” of Philton's, Flo, and Shimmy.

Due to the time lapse, and the sudden extra companion shaped burden presented to him, Philton must briefly attempt to summarize the current quest and its noble intentions. However in doing so he verbally stumbles over the fact that he may have forgotten where exactly the troupe is going exactly and how to get there. Seeing an opportunity to help an old friend and establish his function in the group so that he is not perceived as dead weight, Smock uses his ability to speak with inanimate objects to see if any “actual dead weight” can remind the group where we might be going, this is however completely unhelpful.

Icy Flows of Boo as the troupe sees it,
each panel is 20 miles across.

The fantastical and apparently well equipped Flo decides to put on a Zwinkie mask which transforms her into a tiny fairy-like creature, with the notable ability of flight. Along with Shimmy, they ascend high above their landlocked party members thus getting a Zwinkie’s eye view of the landscape. From this height they note several key features, a self explanatory ice-cano, various ice flows, and a long track that leads to some sort of light source assumed to be a distant village. After descending and relaying this information, it's easy for everyone to agree that the village is the best possible destination, although everyone seems to have their own individual reasons as to why.

With the speed of Philton (a mighty slowpoke) being half the next slowest party member, some sort of modus operandi of transport must be decided. The obvious choice is to summon another Oober Sleemay. The convoluted summoning ritual begins, Philton and Smock hold hands and chant in an alternating fashion, which calls forth a satisfying puff of Sleemay smoke, followed by a enormous monocular bipeedal beast with chicken legs and a ladder leading up to a closed hatch on its tummy. While smock innocently stands before the creature attempting to make friends with it, the useful and more sensible others of the troupe start to search for a way to open the hatch, and Shimmy quickly discovers a panel on the back of its ankle. Contained in this hatch is a writhing tentacle with a suction cup on its end, which Philton recalls attaches to your forehead so that you may input the desired destination to the Sleemay. Flo takes the reins and thinks very hard about the path and distant village, while her companions try their best not to distract her in any way at all.

The hatch opens, and without a second consideration the shivering band enters the lovely furnished internal organs of the Sleemay, spreading out across the worn out couches and chairs. After a moment, and a turn of a dial (which plays Red Hour hits through tiny speakers), a general feeling of motion hits the group and they assume they are now on their way to their destination. After about what seemed to be several deca-nutas of travel, the Sleemay stops, and the troupe disembarks, apparently still in a vast winter wonderland with no village, or distant light or whatever the destination was visible. This is unfortunate because the Sleemay vanishes in another puff of wondrous smoke not a moment after they disembark.

Another mi-nuta is used, allowing those in the troupe with the power of flight to survey the landscape, and it is determined that they are very much not near the village, based on the complete lack of buildings and bipeeds, or as Smock calls them: “potential friends”. They did however end up making some progress in a direction that was inefficient but not completely useless towards the town. So it's not all bad news.

If you thought the arbitrary character additions to the troupe were done, boy were you wrong! Another actual person (Jimmy) foolishly sits down to play at this moment, and so the clever and witty and handsome and youthful garage master decisively has one of the characters currently devoid of a player suddenly spring to life with a new personality. Gyro, who’s actual player was not present, springs to life as “Barney the Dinosaur” (yet another artifact of Ancient Earth).

All of this is cut short however by a distant cry of help! Without a second thought Smock springs into action to run towards this voice in peril, this damsel or dude in distress! Philton is about to stop him when he too gets a sudden, inexplicable greed for justice (via Whimsy Card)! Off they go, bolting to the rescue. The other troupe members tag along and the troupe encounters a prestigiously dressed man, standing between a body laying face down and a patch of ice moss. He elegantly cries out for help, and Smock dives in to give him a comforting initial hug, a practice known as First Comfort, which is like first aid but instead more about psychological assistance, since Smock has very little actual first aid experience. Instantly Smock passes through the man, he is obviously a magical illusion. This doesn't phase Smock however, realising that man can’t be helped he instantly shifts his focus to the face down body and begins CPR. Gyro (now as Barney) stands over him as Smock performs this, observing the scene. The others mostly stand at a distance observing this bizarre situation, reasoning that the ice moss is likely dangerous. After a moment the illusionary man disappears and the group looks on as the almost dead bipeed sits up gasping for air. This is where the troupe experience was cut short for this time.

Bipeedal illusion

* It has been 13 years since the last Cursedemic struck Fooburg and it seems spread through physical contact forcing those infected to speak with a ridiculous French accent. The Most Royal Authorities have not disclosed to the citizenry how it started, but have initiated a Virtuous Action Campaign Keyed Selectively Eliminating Resurgent Sorcery in which FS.W.1.L.L. (made from frog sweat) is believed to nullify the curse when sprayed on the victim. The Cobbled Elite has been tasked to round up anti-VACKSERS and expel them from Fooburg by forcing them into portable teleportals which expel them to random undisclosed locations. There are many rumors as to the origin of the Cursedemic. Some believe it is an attack by the Glorious French Bipeeds of Canada. Others claim that Ishtar is punishing the city because a Flutterbye steak was served in the royal cafeteria. Another rumor points to a band of revolutionaries hiding in Pewlon.
